Nurtured by the snowmelt of the Qilian Mountains and the Tengger Desert, it is crafted solely to capture the essence of Gansu’s terroir.

Chateau Summer Land is located in Minqin, Wuwei City, Gansu Province,situated in the heartland where the Badain Jaran Desert and the Tengger Desert converge, boasting exceptional terroir. With abundant sunshine, a dry climate, and pristine soil, the estate provides an ideal environment for vineyard growth. Spanning 4,000 acres, the winery is dedicated to grape cultivation, breeding, and wine production, forming a comprehensive grape-growing and winemaking industrial chain.

In vineyard planning, Summer Land emphasize varietal selection and diversity. Through extensive research on global grape varieties, we have chosen those best suited to the Northwest China climate, introducing 46 grape varieties and 76 clones from France and Italy. Among them, 34 varieties and 56 clones have shown outstanding performance, making our winery the one with the most extensive collection of wine grape varieties in China.

Rare white grape varieties include Tocai Friuliano, Malvasia, Solaris, Arneis, Viognier, and Gewurztraminer, while red varieties include Malbec, Mourvedre, Tempranillo, Raboso, Uva Rara, Tannat, Montepulciano, and Brachetto. Common varieties such as Chardonnay, Semillon, Riesling, Muscat Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir each exhibit their own distinctive character.

Bo Series Arneis Dry White Wine 2019

Tasting Notes: Following hand-picking and grape selection, the wine undergoes cold clarification and fermentation, resulting in a bright, pale golden colour. It offers aromas of pineapple, mango, lemon and other tropical fruits, alongside wild chamomile. The fruit and floral notes are rich, elegant, harmonious and long-lasting. On the palate, it is sweet and smooth, with moderate acidity.

Bo Series Malvasia Dry White Wine 2024

Tasting Notes: Crafted from premium Malvasia grapes sourced from Chateau Chabran, hand-harvested and subjected to cold clarification and fermentation. On the palate, it offers intense aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and floral notes, with a pronounced minerality. Full-bodied with balanced acidity, it possesses a creamy texture and a long, lingering finish.

Tasting Notes: Crafted from premium Sauvignon Rytos grapes sourced from Chateau Chabrol, hand-harvested and undergoes cold clarification and cold fermentation. It presents a clear, pale yellow colour, exuding fresh aromas of lemon and green apple, with subtle hints of candy. Light-bodied, it is crisp and smooth on the palate, leaving a lingering finish.

Tasting Notes: Crafted from premium Rytos grapes from the Chablan Winery, hand-harvested and subjected to cold clarification and cold fermentation. The wine presents a deep reddish-brown colour. Upon opening, rich aromas of red berries such as strawberries, cherries and plums fill the air, accompanied by subtle notes of wild mushrooms. The palate is delicate and concentrated.

Lan Series Malbec Blend Dry Red Wine 2021

Type: Dry


Tasting Notes: Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels; the wine is a deep ruby red colour, with aromas of red fruits, coffee, toasted bread and vanilla upon opening. The palate is sweet, smooth and full-bodied, with excellent ageing potential. It perfectly embodies the characteristics of the Hexi Corridor region.

Lan Series Mourvedre Dry Red Wine 2022

Tasting Notes: Aged for twelve months in French oak barrels, this wine is crafted from premium, mature Mourvèdre grapes sourced from the Chateau de Chabolan vineyard. It displays a deep colour and offers intense flavours of cherry, blackberry and peppery spices. The bouquet is rich and elegant, whilst the palate is sweet, smooth and full-bodied, exhibiting exceptional typicity and excellent ageing potential.
